The Gran Canaria of landscapes and tradition
The Panorama VIP Tour in Gran Canaria leaves from Playa del Inglés and heads towards Fataga where you’ll have time to get lost among its peaceful narrow streets before we move on to San Bartolomé de Tirajana. Here we’ll make a stop at the viewpoint. Get your camera ready because the views are impressive. Next, we’ll travel to the highest point of the excursion: Ayacata. This small village set between two cliffs is famous for its beautiful surroundings. We’ll visit the Medicinal Plant Centre where we’ll enjoy a herbal tea tasting session.
From here we’ll head past Artenara towards Barranco Hondo where we’ll discover the unusual cave houses. The Capilla de Fátima is also in a cave and is certain to pique your interest. And then you’ll enjoy another 5-star panoramic view from Monte Pavón. You can easily make out Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and neighbouring Mount Teide, weather permitting. Once you’ve taken your photos, we’ll set off towards Fontanales.
On the final stretch of the excursion, we’ll descend along the Barranco de Los Tilos de Moya track through a lush forest that has been made a Biosphere Reserve. You won’t be able to take your eyes off it! And we’ll make our final stop in Moya where you’ll have some free time to visit the beautiful church. Don’t miss the views of the gorge from the rear: they’re good enough to frame.
From here we’ll reach the north coast of the island—where you can see fertile banana plantations—and will return to Maspalomas along lively Avenida Marítima de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. Your driver will drop you at your hotel, putting the finishing touch to a perfect day.
