About this private Jeep Safari excursion in La Gomera

Set your course for one of the world’s unique islands and travel in comfort in a small group on a Jeep Safari. Is there any better way to discover the natural marvels that lie in wait on an island with so much to offer?

Our tour to La Gomera has it all

The experience includes everything you could need; Tamarán will collect you from your accommodation or a nearby point and transfer you to the departure point. This is either Puerto de la Cruz (northern departures) or Playa de las Américas (southern departures). Then the ferry will smoothly transport you across Atlantic waters to San Sebastián de La Gomera, your first point of contact with an island capable of astonishing locals and visitors alike. Did you know that it has its own whistle-based language, the silbo gomero, part of the Cultural Heritage of Humanity?

Our route focuses on the most fascinating features of the island, including Garajonay National Park. You’ll be captivated by the friendliness of its people and the incredible natural heritage that surrounds you wherever you look.

Hermigua

This small village specialises in growing Canary Islands bananas and is also famous for its palm tree groves, the source of Canary Islands guarapo juice. Once you’ve been here, you’ll understand why the quality of life in La Gomera is so high.

Laguna Grande

Plant-life is curiously absent from this plain that spreads out in the centre of Garajonay National Park in environmental conditions unlike any others on the island. This is the perfect place to start when you set off to explore the park.

Canary Islands cuisine

Another attraction of this Jeep Safari: La Gomera has some wonderful food. You’ll stop in one of La Gomera’s restaurants and have the chance to sample some of the island’s most typical dishes. Are you sure you know real Canary Islands food?

Garajonay National Park

The jewel in the crown of the island’s natural attractions, this park has paths and routes among laurel forests from the Tertiary period. Wherever you look as you travel by Jeep, you’re certain to be amazed. It’ll be a long time before you forget this green paradise.

San Sebastián de La Gomera

Admire the balconies and splendid colours on the façades of buildings in the island’s capital. This will be your departure point once you’ve arrived on the island and you’ll also be free to explore it independently for a while before boarding the return ferry.

Agulo

One of the most enchanting areas not just of La Gomera, but the whole Canary Islands archipelago. Travel its narrow cobbled streets by Jeep and get ready to see one of the most impressive panoramic views in the Atlantic.
