About this excursion by Jeep Safari to El Cotillo in Fuerteventura

Would you like to discover the most beautiful places in the Peaceful Island? It’s easy with our Jeep Safari to El Cotillo in Fuerteventura. Our all-terrain vehicles will transport you to gentle sand dunes and the most authentic villages where it feels as though time passes more slowly. The perfect expedition to do as a couple, in a group or with children. Travelling by Jeep feels like a real adventure and they’re great fun for all.

Fuerteventura: the island of calm beauty

The Jeep Safari Cotillo Fuerteventura tour sets off from Corralejo Dunes. You can get here independently or in our Jeep, which will collect you if you're staying in the area. You’ll stop for a moment to enjoy the landscape and take some photos before taking your seats in the Jeep.

The next stop is Linares, which you’ll reach by travelling along a track that is only suitable for all-terrain vehicles. Driving along these tracks gives you extra views of the landscape that most don’t get to see, and you’ll find Bayuyo volcano is especially alluring as we pass it in the Jeeps. Lajares is a little village loved by surfers and has a hippy vibe with lots of unusual handicraft shops.

We’ll continue onwards to El Cotillo—many say this town has the most beautiful beaches in Fuerteventura. And with good reason: these deep turquoise natural lagoons will definitely tempt you to swim. You’ll have time for a dip—so don’t forget your swimming things.

The next stops are the dock and Tostón Tower in El Cotillo. The tower was built in the 18th century to defend the island from pirate attacks. Your guide will tell you all about it in great detail.

The next stop on the excursion is Tindaya. This mountain is considered to be the most emblematic natural feature of Fuerteventura. It’s no surprise that the island’s ancient inhabitants believed it was a sacred place.

Finally, we’ll return to La Oliva where we’ll take a stroll, ending the excursion with smiles from ear to ear.
